N.B. The price shown is based on the staircase above and calculated based on current pricing.

Exposed Back Construction:

Most staircases we manufacture are “standard construction” in that the area is held together using wedges and glue blocks, meaning the underside of the staircase needs to be covered.
However, we can manufacture stairs which are “exposed back”. Exposed back stairs do not have any wedges of glue blocks, so there’s no need to cover the underside, creating a feature that can look very impressive.

200mm Embedded Glass Panels:

We offer glass panels either:

  • On clamps (with a choice of style and finish).
  • Embedded into a groove within the handrail & baserail.

The glass on this staircase is embedded into a groove between the pine handrail and baserail.
All glass panels we supply are made to measure for each staircase.

Normally, we supply the panels in large pieces of glass; however, we can supply them smaller. In this case, the customer requested 200mm glass panels, which we supplied.

Please note; We've shown the glass panels as large panels on the 3D model.

LED Lighting:

We do not supply stairs with built-in LED lights.
However, the customer has added LED lights to their stairs.
We can drill holes in the strings for you to fit the lights of your choice. Please get in touch if this is something you'd be interested in.

Traditional Curtail Treads:

This staircase features two feature treads.

  • Tread one is a double-going curtail.
  • Tread two is a single-going curtail.

These two feature treads allow the bottom post to be set back by two treads (approx 500m, making the hallwayto feel bigger and giving the staircase a grander appearance.

The way this property is laid out means you could also have feature treads on the right-hand side and the left, as shown.
