N.B. The price shown is based on the staircase above and calculated based on current pricing.
The majority of this staircase is painted white. However, the touch points (handrail & caps) are in oak. We recommend having timber touch points instead of painting them, as when painted, the paint tends to wear off over time.
This staircase also features oak baserail, creating a "framing" effect for the spindles, enhancing the overall look.
We can provide stairs with some components pre-primed.
Primed components aren’t significantly more expensive and will save you extensive time when finishing the stairs, should you be painting it.
Primed components will still need a top coat of emulsion of a colour of your choice.
If you were going to add oak components, the cheapest are as follows:
As such, these are the components you'd have as oak for a new building where it's being built to sell.
It creates the oak staircase effect without massively increasing the price.
This property featured a gallery landing area away from the main staircase on the first flood, which we supplied the pictures balustrade for with small 200mm wide glass panels.
Although we can supply these, the larger, wider glass is more popular.
The treads and risers on this staircase are manufactured in MDF & Plywood.
Having a bullnose adds a feature and pushes the post back by one tread, creating more space.
Having the feature tread in contrasting timber further enhances this effect.
