The majority of double-turn staircases turn 180 degrees back on themselves.
However, there are circumstances such as this one where the stairs must have two turns that turn in opposite directions.
This staircase is situated within a kitchen with a double-height vaulted ceiling; the staircase allows the customer to make use of the area above the utility room.
We offer glass panels either:
The glass on this staircase is embedded into a groove.
All glass panels we supply are made to measure for each staircase.
If an oak stair is to be carpeted, it doesn't make sense to supply the treads and risers oak, given the cost saving.
As such, this staircase features MDF treads and plywood risers, ideally suited to carpeting.
We offer multiple handrail profiles. However, we no longer offer a "Square Profile" handrail as standard; instead, we offer a "Modern Choice" handrail, which has better ergonomics.
We can still offer the "Square Profile" handrail on request as a special order
