Both of these staircases feature four kite winder boxes.
We recommend using something other than four kites, as, to make them comply with current building regulations, you must have one of the winder treads totally out of the post, which can cause issues with string build-up.
As such, we recommend three kite winder boxes as the preferred way of manufacturing a window box.

When there are two staircases above each other, as in this case study.
Elegantly connecting them can be a challenge. Ideally, the posts would line up. However, because the layout of these stairs is different, that's just not possible.
Instead, the two staircases shown here are connected by a length of matching handrail with an embedded glass panel.

Usually, feature treads are made to a set radius, which defines how far past the post they protrude.
However, sometimes this means they protrude too far. We can manufacture custom feature treads that don't protrude as far on request.

The customer wanted the treads to be side lit for this staircase, so we drilled 20mm holes in the stair's strings to accommodate their lights based on the specification that they supplied.
