It's possible to paint your stairs any colour you wish. We even offer various components pre-primed to make the job easier.
Painted stairs can add a new dimension to your interior. This staircase has been painted black. Black and grey paints are ever popular for finishing stairs. Combined with the property's interior, a modern look has been achieved.

We can provide stairs with some components pre-primed.
Primed components aren’t significantly more expensive and will save you extensive time when finishing the stairs, should you be painting it.
Primed components will still need a top coat of emulsion of a colour of your choice.

On this staircase,

• Flight one (w1) is 950mm
• Flight two (w2) is 850mm

It's pretty common to have different flights with different widths, and it's allowable under building regulations.

In this scenario, it means that when you look at the stairs from the bottom, they look wider, as flight one is wider than the main part.

We offer glass panels either:

• On clamps (with a choice of style and finish).
• Embedded into a groove within the handrail & baserail.

The glass on this staircase is embedded into a groove between the pine handrail and baserail.

All glass panels we supply are made to measure for each staircase.

When there's a quarter turn on a staircase, that turn can be either a kite winder or a quarter landing.
Quarter landings take up more space than a kite winder. However, they're cheaper, pleasant to walk up, and, it can be argued, look better.

We offer multiple handrail profiles. However, we no longer offer "Square Profile" handrail as standard; instead, we offer "Modern Choice" handrail, which has better ergonomics.
We can still offer "Square Profile" handrail on request as a special order.
