Carpeted Oak Staircase:

If an oak stair is to be carpeted, it doesn't make sense to supply the treads and risers oak, given the cost saving.
As such, this staircase features MDF treads and plywood risers, ideally suited to carpeting.

Embedded Glass:

We offer glass panels either:

  • On clamps (with a choice of style and finish).
  • Embedded into a groove within the handrail & baserail.

The glass on this staircase is embedded into a groove.
All glass panels we supply are made to measure for each staircase.

Two Interconnected Staircases:

Situations such as this, where two staircases are immediately above each other, have become more common due to the increasing popularity of three-storey houses.
The two stairs are connected by a length of balustrade between the two stairs.
Having two interconnecting stairs looks excellent and makes for an exciting feature.

Please Note; There's two 3D models for these stairs.

Underdrawn With Oak Veneered MDF:

The underside of this staircase was covered (underdrawn) on-site by the customer using oak-veneered MDF.
The issue with oak veneered MDF is that it only comes in sheets of 2440x1220mm, which means that joints are required on a length over 2440mm. We'd recommend using an oak beading to hide the joint.

HDR Handrail:

We keep two handrail profiles in stock; the most popular choice for use with glass balustrades is the "modern choice" profile.
However, the HDR profile handrail remains an ever-popular choice with its excellent looks and ergonomics.

Feature Hallway:

This staircase is the central feature of this double-height feature hallway.
An oak staircase can enhance a hallway and make everything pop.
Using glass within the balustrade allows maximum light, which is essential when there's so much glass.

The online designer and overall ordering process was really simple.

Really happy with the look and finish of the stairs. The online designer and overall ordering process was really simple and any questions were quickly answered. Would highly recommend. Great price as well.
