N.B. The price shown is based on the staircase above and calculated based on current pricing.
If an oak stair is to be carpeted, it doesn't make sense to supply the treads and risers oak, given the cost saving.
As such, this staircase features MDF treads and plywood risers, ideally suited to carpeting.
We offer glass panels either:
The glass on this staircase is embedded into a groove.
All glass panels we supply are made to measure for each staircase.
This staircase is the central feature of this double-height feature hallway.
An oak staircase can enhance a hallway and make everything pop.
Using glass within the balustrade allows maximum light, which is essential when there's so much glass.
We keep two handrail profiles in stock; the most popular choice for use with glass balustrades is the "modern choice" profile.
However, the HDR profile handrail remains an ever-popular choice with its excellent looks and ergonomics.
Feature treads can look great, and when there's a tight space, they make the hallway feel bigger by pushing the post back.
However, not everyone wants them, and in this hallway, there's so much space that a feature tread is not really needed unless it's wanted for aesthetic reasons.
The customer opted not to have any feature tread(s), and the stairs look amazing, still giving a clean, modern look.
Thanks for our lovely oak staircase supplied by yourselves.
