Grey Finish:

It's popular to paint or stain a staircase; grey has become more prevalent in recent years. The customer has painted this staircase grey on site.

Full Pine Staircase:

This staircase was supplied entirely in pine as per the customer's preference.
They then painted the entire staircase.
It's often assumed that you must use timber treads and risers to paint them. However, MDF & Plywood are also fine to paint and are significantly cheaper. However, the argument for timber is you get a potentially more consistent finish when painting the entire staircase.
We also offer components in primed white to save time.

200mm Embedded Glass Panels:

The standard way we manufacture glass panels is to have them with "large panels", so you have as few panels as possible.
However, we can offer smaller panels, the norm being a 200mm fixed-width panel, which this customer opted for.
However, this isn't particularly popular, so we only offer this as a "special order".

Square Bullnose Feature Tread:

The feature tread on this staircase was supplied square instead of the usually rounded finish. It's a popular choice and is generally considered more modern in appearance.

Metal Post Caps:

Metal post caps are becoming more popular. We offer several styles in three finishes, brushed, mirror and black.
The post caps on this staircase are "forge caps" in a "brushed metal" finish.

My carpenter was impressed!

We went over to the factory at Beverley, and we were impressed with the operation, the product available, the design and of course, the price. Delivered on time and fitted like a glove which, for a double winder is quite an achievement. My carpenter was impressed!
It's pine, stained grey with glass panels and looks fantastic.
