This staircase having two kite winders allows it to turn 180°.
The kite winders are next to each other, forming a tight turn. The inside winder box posts are glued together to form a 90x180mm post.
Most staircases in the UK will have 41x41mm or 32x32mm spindles.
This staircase features 32x32mm square spindles, which are smaller in size giving a more sleek look, 32mm spindles have become more prevalent in recent times.
Using MDF & Plywood makes the most sense if you're carpeting your staircase.
They're cheaper than timber and have none of the drawbacks of natural wood.
We can provide stairs with some components pre-primed.
Primed components aren’t significantly more expensive and will save you extensive time when finishing the stairs, should you be painting it.
Primed components will still need a top coat of emulsion of a colour of your choice.
This staircase was ordered as part of a loft conversion; as such, there is an unusual detail on the balustrade returning back into itself.
