N.B. The price shown is based on the staircase above and calculated based on current pricing.
Rather than having a painted entirely white staircase, the client opted to have the touch points in oak (handrail & caps).
Having the touch points in oak is a good idea, as when painted, the paint can chip off over time and compromise the stairs' aesthetic.
Having some components of the stairs in oak is also a significant cost-effective way to enhance the appearance of the staircase compared to an entire oak staircase.
The client painted this staircase on-site. However, it's worth noting that we can pre-prime components to save you time and money.
With only one tread before the first turn (such as here), it makes sense to have the first tread as a feature tread to avoid having additional posts that would look unsightly.
It also works out cheaper to do this.
This staircase signature handrail, which we only sell as a special order.
Please get in touch if you require this handrail profile on your stairs.
